DEGLAS Impact Double-Skinned Acrylic Sheet
Protecting and Brightening Our World
Get the protection you want while still enjoying the sun’s natural light. Made from the same durable polymer as our Wave Profile sheet, the Impact Double-Skinned Sheet is designed specifically for overhead use.
It is especially suited to applications where longer spans, higher live
loads, and good insulating characteristics
are important.
Safe, Secure, Beautiful
Deglas Impact provides hail resistant protection while transmitting a diffused,
natural sunlight. Like all of our Deglas acrylics, it blocks harmful UV rays as
well as resisting their weathering effects. It even comes with a 10 year
warranty to back it up.
On every Deglas Double-Skinned Sheet is an anti-condensate coating that works
with the rain to keep the sheet clean.
A Variety of Products to Choose From
Double-Skinned Impact Sheet is available in clear, bronze, light white (opal),
and solar cool dark white.
Unique Large Panel Sizes
Sheets are 47.25" wide (for 4' on center construction) and available in 2'
length increments up to 24' long. All systems are easy to install and require no
specialized training – highly skilled glass installers are not required to work
with Double-Skinned Sheet.
The light weight and long lengths result in very short installation times as compared to glass.
Design Flexibility and Ease of Installation
Deglas Double-Skinned Sheet can be installed using two different 4' on center
glazing systems and one 2' on center structural glazing system. The proper
glazing system is important, to allow for thermal expansion in the structured
polymer sheet.
The Sheet can be cut on a variety of angles using a circular saw with a carbide
tipped blade. It is adaptable to a wide range of roof pitches – including
vertical installation using the SGS glazing system.
